Psalm 103

Psalm 103
April 25, 2010

My soul will bless the Lord,
My all will bless the Name,
Of the One whose deed and word,
Forgave sin and washed my shame.

Bless the Lord, O my soul!

The One who healed my sickness,
And saved, you my soul, from Hades.
Who has crowned my head with kindness,
Like no other, He crowns with tender mercies.

Bless the Lord, O my soul!

He has filled my mouth with good; I am satisfied.
He has renewed my youth and been my strength.
He gives righteous judgment; to the oppressed-it's not denied.
He reveals His ways and knows my life's length.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

The Lord is merciful; His grace does abound.
Though I did sin, He does not reward me for iniquity.
As Heaven to Earth, East from West, my sins are not found.
The Lord has loved me as a father who shows pity.

Bless the Lord, O my soul!

I fear the One who made me as flowers and grass,
As one whose life and beauty is here and fleeting.
For when the wind blows my beauty and life does pass.
And where we grew, no more remembers our meeting.

Bless the Lord, O my soul!
