I didn't know who you were,
But I saw you and did wonder...
Who is he...and what does he live for?
I didn't know your past,
But I saw you and did wonder...
Has he ever had a friendship last?
I didn't know your heart,
But I saw you and did wonder...
If he ever could with it part?
I didn't know you saw me,
But I saw you and did wonder...
What if he of me did dream?
I didn't know God had such a plan,
But I saw you and did wonder...
If you were ever to be my man?
I didn't know you wondered too,
But I saw you and did wonder...
If God would bless me with love for you.
We didn't know what to do,
But God saw us and did a wonder,
He taught us how to say, “I love you.”
