Lord, keep me in your presence.
As I live in this world which has no reverence,
For your powerful love and name.
They surround me in all directions,
And I wait to hear Your voice,
Calling me out of this land of confusion.
I want to live as one called by You,
I want to submerge in your Holy Presence.
But most of all, let me live in your servitude.
I scream to be rid of all this nonsense,
The pain and hurt of their ridicule
Causes me to cringe as I realize,
They no longer hate me, but hate You
Lord, help me to live as your witness among men,
I want to bring them to your forgiveness,
I receive your strength to this end, in Christ's name, Amen.
